Trainz 2009 Has Hidden Easter Eggs
January 11th, 2009 Posted in News, Trainz, VideoWith all the negative publicity surrounding Trainz 2009, I went in search of something positive to report about.
What I found, was this YouTube video showing some of the hidden features, called “easter eggs,” contained within the game platform.
It seems that there are some odd, but very cool things you can do with the new release of Trainz.
One of the things I found very interesting, is that the video shows the unusual features of the software, but none of the main features; namely the improved graphics. The images in the video look as if created in a much more primitive version of Trainz.

Well nothing really new here, but its cool they restored the old Easter eggs from 04. Smite looks particularly entertaining, mabye enough for me to buy 09 when its at the bargain bin. Make me a map would actually be a useful utility if you could configure the types of trees, textures etc. Do walk and fly now work in driver mode too?

thanks for posting my video. i created this in the 2009 version and is not in an older version of trainz. some codes did not work in the 2006 version but they now all seem to work on the 2009 version. why would auran take them out, i dont know.
